Dvara KGFS Partners SBGK to Monetise 80,000 Litres of Milk Collected Daily

Chennai: Dvara Kshetriya Gramin Financial Services (Dvara KGFS), an NBFC focused on financial inclusion in India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shri Baba Gorakhnath Kripaa Milk Producer Company (SBGK), the largest milk producer in East Uttar Pradesh, to promote sustainable livelihoods for women dairy farmers in the region.

The MoU was exchanged between Rahul Tripathy, Chief Product Officer, Dvara KGFS, and Mrs. Neeraj, Chairperson of Shri Baba Gorakhnath Kripaa Milk Producer Company, in the presence of senior leadership from both organisations and the Board of Directors of SBGK.

Under this collaboration, Dvara KGFS will leverage nearly 80,000 litres of milk collected daily by SBGK to extend tailored financial services to approximately 44,000 women dairy farmers, along with other dairy farming households.

The partnership aims to enhance income stability, improve market access, and support long-term livelihood sustainability across rural Uttar Pradesh.

Commenting on the partnership, Rahul Tripathy, Chief Product Officer, Dvara KGFS, said the collaboration represents a key milestone in strengthening women-led dairy livelihoods by combining structured market access with customised financial solutions to support rural households in achieving income resilience.

Mrs. Neeraj, Chairperson, Shri Baba Gorakhnath Kripaa Milk Producer Company, noted that the association with Dvara KGFS will reinforce institutional support at the village level, ensure year-round milk market access, and help women dairy farmers build economic independence and long-term financial security for their families in the Gorakhpur division.

Dvara KGFS Launches Dairy Value Chain Financing Model

This partnership also marks the launch of Dvara KGFS’s Dairy Value Chain product line, a structured financing framework designed to support dairy farmers across the entire value chain – from cattle care and milk production to centralised milk collection and consistent income generation.

The model enables more accurate income assessment and customised financial solutions for dairy farmers across Uttar Pradesh.

Through this initiative, Dvara KGFS is expanding its product portfolio to help dairy entrepreneurs manage climate-related risks and build financial resilience, while contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
